All New Yorkers should be able to marry the person they love and to share that commitment with their friends and family members. Now is the time to end discrimination against same-sex couples and to treat ALL families in New York with the same dignity and respect. Same-sex couples pay the same taxes, follow the same laws and should have the same access to a civil marriage license.
